I believe I have been inspired to create MyThirdTeacher because of my deep commitment to multilingual education and the transformative power it holds in shaping inclusive, empowering learning environments. Throughout my career as an international educator, I have witnessed firsthand how multilingual and multimodal literacy can unlock students’ potential, fostering not only academic growth but also a sense of identity and belonging.
My experiences in diverse educational settings—whether in Bogotá, Colombia, or in schools across the U.S.—have reinforced my belief that education should be dynamic, student-centered, and reflective of the multilingual realities of our world. As a public speaker, teacher trainer, and curriculum designer, I have engaged in conversations about the evolving role of education, and this has fueled my passion for designing innovative approaches that reimagine how learning happens.

Through MyThirdTeacher, I aim to create a space that supports international multilingual education by integrating research-backed strategies, fostering creativity, and building globally minded communities. This initiative is a response to my lifelong mission: to ensure that every child, regardless of their linguistic background, feels seen, heard, and empowered in their learning journey.
