Andrea Barbosa Reina is an experienced bilingual education leader with a strong background in curriculum design, instructional coaching, and dual-language program development. She currently serves as an Education Programs Manager at Participate Learning, where she plays a key role in shaping educational programs that support multilingual learners and global education initiatives.

With over a decade of experience in Union County Public Schools, North Carolina, Andrea worked as a Dual Language Instructional Coach and Spanish Dual Language Lead Teacher, mentoring educators, implementing effective immersion strategies, and supporting language acquisition in diverse learning environments. Prior to this, she taught at Gimnasio Los Pinos in Bogotá, Colombia, further strengthening her expertise in bilingual education. She holds a Master’s degree in Educational Program Design, Management, and Evaluation from Universidad Central, a Specialization in Bilingual Education from Universidad El Bosque, and a Bachelor’s degree in Education with an emphasis in Physical Education, Recreation, and Sports from Universidad Libre.
